About the role

Kolibri Analytics is looking for a strong backend engineer to join the platform core team. Responsibilities include building and maintaining backend services in Python 3.12 (FastAPI, asyncio), designing PostgreSQL schemas and optimizing heavy analytical queries, evolving the event processing pipeline on Kafka and Celery, owning service reliability (Prometheus, Grafana), code review, and mentoring mid-level engineers. Requirements include 5+ years of commercial Python development (2+ in high-load), asynchronous Python expertise, deep PostgreSQL knowledge, production experience with Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes proficiency, and testing habits.
