- What is resume screening?
- Resume screening is the first filter in hiring: deciding who gets an interview and who does not. HR Mate does this step automatically — it reads every resume, scores it against your vacancy requirements, and returns candidates ranked by priority.
- How does the AI score candidates?
- The model parses the resume and the answers to your screening questions, then scores five weighted criteria: fit to the vacancy requirements, niche relevance, measurable results, scale of past work, and motivation signals. Every score comes with reasoning, and the scoring methodology is published on the site.
- Does the service reject candidates on its own?
- No. HR Mate scores and ranks; a person decides. The model only sees what is in the text, so the final call stays with the recruiter.
- Do I need to install anything or connect an ATS?
- No. You create a vacancy, get a public link, and share it anywhere — a job board, social media, a newsletter. Candidates apply through the link, and scored applications appear in your dashboard and inbox.
- How much does it cost and is there a free trial?
